Dealing with a thief – Event information!

For those that missed the beginning of the quest,

Captain Nystad reiterates the difficulties the Royal Guards are having with rescuing the missing scouts. This is virtually impossible without regaining access to the deep sewers.

She enlists the help of the citizens to seek out a man who is known as Britain’s thief master who resides in the sewers. You are supposed to talk with the thief master and ask him about the keyword to begin the quest.

The quest is short enough for you to finish it in just under an hour, especially if you have help. If you work on yourself without any spoilers then it might take you couple of hours. You can do this quest throughout the week. At the end, you need to submit your report of the investigation via the “contact us” link on the website or submit a book in game at 2:00 PM Sunday May 10th, 8:00 PM Friday 15th.

You will be judged on the quality of your investigation. If found worthy, the thiefmaster will give the password to the deep sewers.
Please note that you are writing your report for the thiefmaster, not Captain Nystad.

    Dear Thiefmaster Britain,

Rex indicated that Lord Gideon is involved in a trading venture with the folk of Skara Brae.

In Skara Brae there was a sailor, who wore a red skullcap, complained that Lord Gideon was interfering with the business of independant sailors and angrily mentioned that two portraits had been made by the City council. The sailor also mentioned a gang of five as he shuddered with fear.

One was an unflattering portrait of Lord Gideon and one was of a Fair Lady Casey hanging in the shopbuilder’s shop. After returning to Britain, I spoke the name “Casey” to Rex and searched Gideon’s room. There was a book in Gideon’s room, although all of his other personal effects were gone.

The book implores Lord Casca to allow Gideon to proceed with his venture on the open seas and asking for the opportunity to hold council with his majesty.

There was a gray moongate in Lord Gideon’s chamber that lead to Lord Blackthorn’s castle which has many tunnels, including a shipping dock built by Judge Dryden. The thiefmaster, elaborated nothing further.
